A Little About Me

I am a second year PhD student studying in the Santacruz Lab at UT Austin under the PI Samantha Santacruz. I am working on developing a novel electrode array using carbon nanotube fibers. Using this array, our lab hopes to make new advancements in the research and treatment of various neuropsychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

I will be using techniques such as micro-fabrication, electrochemical characterization, cell and organoid culture, and non-human primate handling to achieve my research goals.

I am also involved in the BME department as Vice President of BME GSS, a graduate mentor in the BELoNG program, and actively participate in graduate recruiting every year. I love science and research and want to help others find the best place grow as scientists.
